USD 50 per shop is an assumed rate. Shops are counted as assigned, including cancellations.

How the 85% scenario was calculated

  • Total used for 100%: the 116 shops assigned in October. 85% of 116 is 98.6 shops.
  • Cutoff: we sorted every October timesheet entry by date and start time and added up the shops each entry logged. The count passed 98.6 during the entry starting 23 October, 9pm Philippine time, which took it to 100 shops. That entry and everything before it are kept, and everything after it is left out.
  • Why it lands at 86%, not exactly 85%: the timesheet records shops per entry, not the time of each shop, so the cutoff can only fall at the end of an entry. That makes this an estimate.
  • Supervision: we billed 14 hours of supervision in October. In this scenario supervision is 85% of those 14 hours – 11.9h at USD 15.56 an hour, which is USD 185.16.
  • Rates: scheduling uses the same rate as the actual view – PHP 290/h plus 15% late-hours loading on all hours and a 30% margin, at 1 USD = PHP 62.45.
  • Cancellations: the 18 cancellations logged up to the cutoff are counted in the hours. The 116-shop total is shops assigned, not shops completed.
  • Difference from actual: 40.1 fewer hours and USD 296.48 less charged, for 16 fewer shops assigned.
